ASDAN is an education charity and awarding organisation that provides courses, accredited curriculum programmes, and regulated qualifications. Our goal is to engage learners through relevant and motivating courses to achieve meaningful learning outcomes, which elevate them to progress to further education, training and work, and empower them to take control of their lives.

Empowering Learners to Achieve recognised qualifications in a range of Subjects

ASDAN is an education charity and awarding organisation. ASDAN qualifications training and support allow us to offer courses, accredited curriculum programmes, and UK-regulated qualifications. These courses and qualifications can be provided to learners working from Key Stage 2 from pre-Entry to Level 3.

With over 30 years’ experience providing skills-based education, ASDAN exists to advance education and improve outcomes for learners with diverse needs, particularly those facing barriers to success.

ASDAN’s personal effectiveness and life skills for independence offers engage, elevate and empower thousands of learners with diverse needs each year around the world. 

ASDAN Programmes and Qualifications

What are programmes?

ASDAN offers a wide choice of activity-based programmes for learners working at a range of levels. More flexible than qualifications, our courses offer imaginative ways of developing, assessing and certificating young people’s knowledge and skills development.

What are qualifications?

ASDAN offers a range of nationally approved qualifications based around the development of personal, social and employability skills. Our qualifications are offered to learners working from Entry 1 up to Level 3.

ASDAN Courses For Different Settings

SEND Provision

Suitable for pre- and post-16 learners, ASDAN courses develop personal, independent living and employability skills for those with special education needs and disabilities (SEND).

Post-16

ASDAN’s Vocational Taster short courses support career progression. Level 3 qualifications, which carry UCA points, help equip learners with the skills to succeed in higher education.

Secondary Schools

ASDAN’s programmes and qualifications enable learners to succeed at secondary school through the development of core skills and positive attributes. ASDAN courses also boost academic attainment.

Community and Informal

ASDAN flexible courses boost engagement and motivation. They also develop learner’s personal effectiveness, preparing them to thrive in further study, training, or the workplace.
