About The Course

This course is designed to support the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) of educators, school leaders, childcare professionals, and all adults working with children and young people.

Content

This course provides a comprehensive guide to inclusive education within the United Arab Emirates (UAE) frameworks, defining inclusion as a mindset and the core responsibility of every teacher for all learners, including students of determination, gifted, and EAL students. It details the critical process of early identification, relying on professional judgment and evidence, and introduces the central strategy: the Graduated Response. This three-level system uses the Assess–Plan–Do–Review cycle to ensure flexible, needs-led support. Effective implementation requires the collaborative Team Around the Child (TAC), the creation of specific Individual Education Plans (IEPs), and the embedding of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and wellbeing strategies. Ultimately, the course emphasizes shared accountability for preparing every child for a meaningful life beyond school.
