About The Course
This course is designed to support the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) of educators, school leaders, childcare professionals, and all adults working with children and young people.
Content
This course introduces the Code of Conduct for Educators in the UAE and explores the professional responsibilities expected of those working in education. Educators hold a position of trust and influence, and their behaviour directly impacts students, schools and the wider community. Throughout this training, we will examine the key principles of professional conduct, including integrity, respect, confidentiality and safeguarding. We will also explore acceptable and prohibited behaviours in relationships with students, parents and colleagues. By the end of the course, participants will have a clearer understanding of the standards required of educators and how these principles support safe, ethical and professional educational environments.

Total 1 hour of Video content in 4 sessions.
With 1-10 hours of reading and support materials.
Learning Aims
- To develop educators’ understanding of the UAE Code of Conduct and the professional responsibilities expected in schools.
- To promote ethical practice, professional boundaries, and safeguarding behaviours that protect students and the school community.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this training you will be able to identify acceptable and prohibited behaviours when working with students, parents, and colleagues. Participants will also be able to apply the principles of the Code of Conduct to real school situations and professional decision-making.
Certification
Upon completion, participants will automatically receive certification from Louise Dawson Professional and Management Development Training. You will then be contacted if you would like the option of received a Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) Certificate of Attendance.
