FREE! Mighty Writer CPD webinar “Developing Independent Writers in KS1″ 1st December 2025

Stay current with Mighty Writer’s literacy CPD webinar series.
Independence in writing doesn’t just happen. It’s something we teach, nurture, and model. When we empower children to write with confidence and ownership, we’re not just building their literacy skills – we’re building thinkers, communicators, and future learners.
It is crucial that the main objective when teaching writing is that children become independent writers – motivated and able to apply their learning accurately. Developing independent writers is a process which is started right from the beginning of a child’s time in school and requires a well thought through approach which involves sensitive teaching and an excellent understanding of how children learn and their needs.
This webinar is 45-minutes, with 30-minutes of discussions and 15-minutes of Q&A.
We hope you can join us, or please do pass on to a colleague. We will also send you a CPD certificate of completion and a recording to those who register.
