DESCRIPTION:Join us on 1st February for a hands-on skill building in-person workshop with Deirdre Menezes. \nDiscover the power of Talking for Writing! \nIn this interactive workshop we will explore engaging strategies to inspire storytelling\, language development\, and confident young writers through drama\, imitation\, and collaborative creativity. \nConnect with new friends who have common interests. \nAbout the Talking for Writing Workshops\nThe workshop will start with an introduction\, for those who do not have any idea about this system of writing. \nThe ideas shared will be cover principles and approaches that have worked for the trainer; the workshop has developed from Deirdre’s willingness and need to share this with others and allow them to use this in their own situation and work environment. \nThere will also be a ‘teaching/ instruction’ time where the trainer will share ideas and strategies to imbue this system easily into one’s lesson planning and delivery. \nDifferent genres of writing will be addressed and the session will include time to ask questions and receive ideas.
