Struggling with SEND provision? Learn how to improve engagement, create flexible pathways, and evidence outcomes beyond attainment.

Many schools are asking the same question:

Are we truly delivering inclusive, flexible learning or just adapting around the edges?

The most effective schools don’t retrofit SEND support.
They design systems that anticipate and adapt to need.

This session explores what that looks like in practice.

Led by Kate from Gaia Learning, this CPD will share practical insight into how schools are:

  • improving engagement across complex SEND and SEMH cohorts
  • building flexible pathways that adapt as needs change
  • responding in real time — not waiting for formal review cycles
  • joining up SEND, pastoral and academic insight
  • evidencing progress beyond attainment (engagement, wellbeing, independence)
  • ensuring provision moves learners forward, not keeps them in holding patterns

These principles are drawn from real delivery across schools, not just theory.

 

About The Speaker

Kate Heath is the Founder and Managing Director of Gaia Learning, working with schools, MATs and Local Authorities to support learners who struggle to access education. Her work focuses on designing inclusive, flexible provision that improves engagement and long-term outcomes.
