Kate Taylor – Head of Schools
Kate has over 20 years of professional expertise and lived experience of supporting young people at every stage of their development. With a teaching career spanning both primary and secondary education, her experience includes Pastoral Head of Key Stage 3, Head of PSHE, and Teacher of Geography at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, as well as classroom teaching in EYFS and Key Stage 1. Alongside her school-based work, Kate has also worked as a pre-school nanny and is a mother to 3 children of her own.

Kate leads the Schools arm of the Happy Confident Company, working closely with schools, MATs and school groups worldwide, to maximise the impact of the programmes.

Louise Treherne – Head of Families
Louise has 12 years of teaching experience in the independent sector, including 5 years as a senior deputy head at a London prep school. She is also a qualified coach working 1:1 with children, teens and parents, focusing on managing emotions, building confidence and self-acceptance. Louise’s past experiences in the classroom, combined with her coaching role provides the company with an incredible Head of Families, able to help parents nurture not only their children’s wellbeing, but also create deeper connections within the whole family, and with the wider community.
