FREE Webinar! The Link Between Language and Behaviour with Elklan, November ’25

Join Louise and Gill Clarke from Elklan Training to learn more about the impact that speech, language and communication needs (SLCN) can have on behaviour.
In this session, we will:
- Consider how to identify which children/young people might have SLCN
- Explore how SLCN might be linked to their behaviour
- Explore a range of support strategies
The content is aimed at practitioners working with 5-16 year olds
Customer Testimonial
‘Since implementing the Elklan strategies, the number of students with an EHCP who have received suspensions has decreased by over 40% over the past two academic years. This is because staff now understand the link between language and behaviour, and are focussed more on supporting needs than dealing with behaviour.’
Stacey McDermott – SENDCo at E-ACT Royton and Crompton Academy, 2025
