Behaviour Support Training – Level One

This course is for anyone working in low-risk settings wanting to develop a better understanding of behaviour and be more confident supporting children and young people.

You will have a wide range of practical, person-centred de-escalation skills and positive behaviour strategies, to respond to behaviour in a way that is reasonable,
proportionate, necessary and respectful.

Who is the course for?
The Behaviour Support Training Level One programme is ideal for staff groups working in low-risk settings with children or young people.

What’s included?
This 1-day course provides you with the expertise and confidence to apply a set of proven de-escalation strategies, and to utilise personal safety & disengagement techniques if required, while focusing on keeping yourself, colleagues and students safe.

Your certification:
Once you’ve successfully completed the 1-day course, your certificate is valid for 24 months.
