New for Schools – How to effectively share information

How do your teachers (esp. in Senior Years) know who has additional needs, who is second language, who is struggling with well being, and who is gifted and talented? What happens when a cover supervises walks into the school or the class for the first time?

When they are worried about a learner how do they quickly and efficiently inform the Inclusion Support Teams?

If they want to try a new strategy but are all out of thoughts, where do they turn?

How do they book Exam Accommodations, access information about G&T opportunities and strategies for language support?

I have now successfully implemented an ‘intranet’ system which enables schools and inclusion teams to house everything in one place. It has proved to be incredibly successful and effective.

I can provide you with the structure, training and documentation to implement this into your school. No more remembering where to click for CPOMMS, what’s the link for the register, in house training, timetables, GL data, wheres the form for referrals – harness the power of your intranet.

Hi Ms Louise Dawson, how are you today? I am Mobolaji Basirah Ibrahim-kolawole, a Nigerian resident in UAE. I am a member of the EYFS group on the Facebook platform from where I got your contact. I pick-up interest in teaching having homeschooled my daughters to kindergarten level. I went for CACHE Level 2 and 3 training so I can be eligible enough to teach the younger ones. I recently pick an interest in inclusive education and went for ABA cum ADHD training. My SEN training is still ongoing . My problem now is that despite all the pieces of training I am still not feeling confident enough to handle kids with special needs. I believe I am great with kids but am a bit nervous about taking up my new role as a special educator. Is there any book, hands-on- training, or workshops you can refer me to so I can be more equipped for the task ahead?…thanks and I await your response.
