What an incredible opportunity for which I am very grateful.
The team at Outstanding Schools is incredible at putting on a fabulous event. From the location (Picture: County Hall, Westminster, London) right through to the content.
I was fortunate enough to lead a session on embedding Inclusion Policy and Practice to leaders of schools from Paris to India.
More than delivering though, the best thing is being able to meet passionate leaders from across the world. Renowned speakers such as Richard Gerver, spoke about how teachers are so incredibly flexible and the wonderful job being done across the world, all of the time. We didn’t just show up for the pandemic we have been doing this for decades. We all agree that education needs to evolve, but that we are equally held in a vice by curriculum and exam processes.
I also got to meet, talk and have dinner with Abigail Gray. We have been working together since the middle of the pandemic and I am so happy to have finally been able to sit down and have a real face to face conversation. Watch this space, as she has not only only written some incredible support books for teaching assistants, but has a brilliant online course coming out soon.
