Inclusion Preparing for DSIB Inspection Four Hours over Four Weeks Certificate of Attendance and KHDA Recognised 630Aed Per Person / reduced for more than 3 participants from one school Wednesday 27th October 2021 4pm to 5pm Wednesday 3rd November 2021 4pm to 5pm Wednesday 10th November 2021 4pm to 5pm Wednesday 17th November 2021 4pm to 5pm Topics: A dedicated Special Educational Needs and Inclusion course, tailored to school staff who are leading and managing the Inclusion work within school. Inclusion is a whole school provision. This course looks at understanding the journey that Dubai has been on and takes an in depth look at the documentation provided by KHDA to guide Inclusion within schools. We will also look at how to use that documentation to Audit the department, create a robust Strategic Action Plan and a clearly evidenced Self Evaluation. Link: to more information and booking Leading and Managing an Inclusion Department in the UAE - Part 1 Four Hours over Four Weeks Certificate of Attendance and KHDA Recognised 630Aed Per Person / reduced for more than 3 participants from one school Monday 25th October 2021 4pm to 5pm Monday 1st November 2021 4pm to 5pm Monday 8th November 2021 4pm to 5pm Monday 15th November 2021 4pm to 5pm Topics: This four-part course has been designed to support School Leaders, Heads of Inclusion and SENCos and Aspiring SENCos. This course will provide you with a clear definition, history (both across the world and within the UAE) and the implications for education in the UAE. In the second session, we will look at all the different staff in school, their role in inclusion and how to develop your teams. We will then look at the role of parents and their journey in parenting children with need, how to provide them with clear information and give them the support they need to support their children. In the final session, we will look at the different categorisation of students in accordance with the KHDA, the documentation and how to use this to screen and support students with additional needs, gifted and talented and those with English as an Additional Language. There will also be time to meet other SENCos and ask questions throughout. Link: to more information and booking Leading and Managing an Inclusion Department in the UAE - Part 2 Four Hours over Four Weeks Certificate of Attendance and KHDA Recognised 630Aed Per Person / reduced for more than 3 participants from one school Tuesday 26th October 2021 4pm to 5pm Tuesday 2nd November 2021 4pm to 5pm Tuesday 9th November 2021 4pm to 5pm Tuesday 16th November 2021 4pm to 5pm Topics: This four-part course has been designed to support School Leaders, Heads of Inclusion and SENCos and Aspiring SENCos. A dedicated Special Educational Needs and Inclusion course, tailored to school staff who are working with students with additional needs. This includes Students of Determination, Gifted and Talented and those with English as an Additional Language in the United Arab Emirates. Inclusion is a whole school provision. This course looks at how to implement systems to screen, pre-identify and support students using intervention and ensuring quality Individual Education Plans, tracking and progress.
