Education and Credentials

Paul has a degree in Mechanical Engineering, a Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Biomechanics, and has certifications in Further and Adult Education and Teaching. He holds the CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification from ISC2 (International Information System Security Certification Consortium) and the CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) Certification from ISACA (the Information Systems Audit and Control Association). He is also a member of the Business Continuity Institute (BCI).

Overview

Paul trained as a mechanical engineer and has experience teaching/coaching sporting activities to children and adults. He has expertise in delivering technical training for implementation and use of technology solutions in a range of settings.

He can be found around the training centre fixing things, as well as providing guidance and advice – nothing would ever get done if not for Paul!

Experience

Paul has experience of public and private sector and has worked at various levels of government in the UK and the Middle East, including work in UAE, Qatar and KSA. He has worked at local authority level in the UK, providing ed-tech solutions and network connectivity for schools and representing the authority on the Regional Broadband Consortium. He also has experience of working in the health care sector, including leading and delivery of projects and programmes at national level.
